A hunter education class will be conducted Oct. 16 and 17, from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
Students must attend Thursday and Friday. Students wanting to attend just the Friday session will not be admitted.
The class will be held at the Colorado Mounted Ranger Building, 302 San Juan St. (just east of the Spa Motel). Cost is $20 per student.
This course will be open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter safety card. If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license. This will be the last class taught in Pagosa Springs in 2008.
