The Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County is pleased to announce the hiring of Rebecca Anderson as its new executive director.
Anderson brings energy and a vision for the organization molded over two years as a board member herself. She will continue to expand existing fundraising programs and already has demonstrated her ability to raise funds for Habitat projects.
Anderson is a native Californian who made her way to Pagosa Springs through various work experiences, including time with AmeriCorps VISTA, in which she participated in rebuilding communities following disasters. Through that rebuilding experience, she developed a passion for helping people with housing needs and an understanding of how nonprofit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County provide those services to the communities they serve.
Anderson can be reached at 264-6960 if you have questions regarding the New Homeownership or Home Repairs programs.
