Special to The PREVIEW

The Americana Project class at Pagosa Springs High School is proud to announce its special guest artist for the spring concert series: the one and only Joseph Wooten.

The concert will be held at the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. on April 26.

Wooten is an amazing keyboardist, singer and songwriter of deep and meaningful songs. We are excited that he will be able to teach a master class with the Americana Project students, perform for the entire high school body and share his talents with a concert for the community.

He has been touring with The Steve Miller Band for the past 20 years and is a member of the famed Wooten Brothers Band and The Victor Wooten Band. Wooten is known as “the Hands of Soul” and is an inspirational speaker and performer.

Students from the Americana Project will be opening the concert and joining Wooten for the closing song. Please mark your calendars and we hope you can come out and support these wonderful and talented youth of Pagosa Springs.
