Above the law

Dear Editor:
It appears that the party of law and order is no more. Over the years hundreds of Republican candidates have been elected claiming law and order was a high priority. With Trump in the White House, faced with all of the ethical and possible legal issues he has, we don’t hear much about law and order from his party. In fact many congressional Republicans are questioning the FBI and Robert Mueller about their ethics. Some Trump loyalists in his party think it wise to taint the results of those investigations even before they are concluded. Now we hear that the assistant director of the FBI has been driven by political pressure to resign.
