About ‘things’

Dear Editor:

This is just a general letter about “things.”

First of all I want to commend the construction company that worked on “160” in the area around Our Savior Lutheran Church. It is smooth, neat and clean. In addition a representative of the company went to a Vets Helping Vets meeting and explained that there were jobs in that field available and the vets needing work could apply. How great is that?

I want to talk about a great hero in this community who worked with “Wounded Warriors” and took several of them fly fishing and what fun they had. I’m writing about Stan Zuege (how can someone that size be quiet?) but he is. This is not the first time, nor will it be the last, where Stan will be involved doing “good things” and of course it was a two-way street because the “helpers” had as good a time as the “warriors.”

I would like to thank Mayor Don for addressing two worries I had and even calling me back to tell me what action had been taken.

Only in this “unique” community.

I want to spend one letter talking about “Jesus Christ Superstar” but I have rambled on long enough.

Cindy Gustafson
