Special to The Pagosa Springs SUN Online
Have you ever thought about what you would do with $10,000? That decision could be yours if you are the winner of the Seeds of Learning Ka$h for Kid$ Raffle.
Between March and May, board members will be selling only 300 raffle tickets. Each ticket price is $100. One-third of the money collected will go to one lucky winner. If all raffle tickets are sold, up to $10,000 could be yours.
The remaining two-thirds of the proceeds will be used to support the preschool education of Pagosa’s at-risk children. It will be used for everything from paying the degreed teaching staff to buying seeds and fertilizer for the garden. It will support the award-winning programs used at Seeds to prepare children socially, emotionally and educationally to succeed as adults.
Tickets are available at Seeds of Learning or from the following board members: Lynne Bridges, Gary Lassman, Aubrie Limebrook, Pat McKenzie, Dee McPeek and Lori Unger.
The drawing for the winning ticket will be held on May 17 at 7 p.m. at Seeds of Learning, 575 S. 7th St. The winner need not be present to win.
Chances of winning $10,000 in the lottery are one in 648,975. Buy our raffle ticket and give yourself a one-in-300 chance of winning up to $10,000 while helping provide excellent education to our local tots. Tickets will go fast, so don’t miss out. Contact Lori Unger at 731-6740 or Seeds at 264-5513 with any questions.
