‘A tale of two races’: Pirates host cross-country races

Lady Pirates Nell Taylor and Megan Greenly focus on the finish line at Saturday’s home cross-country meet on Reservoir Hill. Taylor finished second overall behind teammate Sierra Liverett and tied the previous course record. Greenly placed third. As a team, the Lady Pirates logged a perfect score for a first-place finish.

Saturday was, as coach Scott Anderson put it, “a tale of two races” for the Pagosa Springs High School cross-country team.
