‘A Night with the Phantom’ fundraiser postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Curtains Up Pagosa’s fundraiser event, “A Night With the Phantom,” has been postponed until further notice.

“When dealing with a small group of singers, it is imperative that each one is available and healthy enough to sing. Unfortunately, one of our singers has had to back out due to health reasons. The music is difficult enough that we cannot just go out and find someone else to sing the part,” says Director Dale Johnson.

“However, we promise to reschedule this event. The public response has been very positive and we are most anxious to bring you this wonderful evening of music,” says Johnson.

Curtains Up Pagosa is celebrating its 25th anniversary season this year, bringing high-quality amateur musical theater to the community since 1989. This nonprofit organization donates its proceeds to assist college students majoring in performing arts with four-year scholarships, as well as providing school arts programs with needed equipment and instruments.
