According to Upper Pine River Fire Protection, a fire has started south of Chimney Rock National Monument off of County Road 917 and Colo. 151 in the Cabezon Canyon area.
The U.S. Forest Service, Southern Ute and Los Pinos Fire are working the fire.
There will also be aircraft working the fire today. Smoke will be visible this afternoon.
