Elementary students achieve big in Read-A-Thon

Pagosa Springs Elementary School students read 28,000 more minutes this year. The school saw 30 students from kindergarten through fourth grade earn the distinction of being a top reader in their respective grades.

Not only does care reign at Pagosa Springs Elementary School (PSES), but excellent reading does as well, as the school saw 30 students from kindergarten through fourth grade earn the distinction of being a top reader in their respective grades.

Noah Bellina earned top honors out of all Pagosa Springs Elementary School Read-A-Thon readers, and for his work won a free hot air balloon ride. Oliver Samu took second place and earned a year pass to Rocky Mountain Wildlife Park.
