Charter school students learn about money, raise funds

Charter school students set up shop in order to learn problem-solving skills involving dollar bills, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. The students sold merchandise and raised $120 for Pagosa Springs Humane Society as part of the lesson, which taught them about running a business, too.
