Drilling in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

Dear Editor:
If you care about wildlife and wild places, you should be concerned about a proposal to open the coastal plains region of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling for oil and gas. This fragile environment is an important nesting habitat for thousands of migratory birds, some of whom spend part of the year here.
