On Jan. 1, Ruby Maxine Loran of Pagosa Springs went to be with her Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. C.C and Ruby Lamb, and brother Lawrence. She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Shannon, Texas. She is survived by three children: Tericia Albright, of Abilene; Steve Loran, of Austin; and Greg Loran (wife Diane), of Lubbock; brother Don Lamb, of Vernon, Texas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Maxine was a graduate of Texas Tech University, taught school, and was involved with real estate and financial investments. A family-only memorial will take place at a future date.
