With newly elected officials taking the helm this week, Archuleta County has been honoring the past and welcoming the future. The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners honored the three outgoing elected officials with plaques on Jan. 2 and Jan. 8, while the majority of the newly elected and re-elected officials were sworn in by Sixth Judicial District Court Judge Jeffrey Wilson on Jan. 8.
