The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs awards over $2,400 in grants to four local teachers recently. Karla Parker Choat and Kelle Bruno, both teachers at the Pagosa Peak Open School, were awarded $670 for classroom needs and iPads. Jenna Waite-Gannon and Debbie Moore, teachers at Pagosa Springs Elementary School and Pagosa Springs High School were awarded $1,774 for specialized art supplies and toward an interactive planetarium that will be used district wide.

The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs supports youth in many ways from kindergarten through college. One such event happened recently when over $2,400 was granted to four local teachers.
