Special to The SUN

On Monday, Sept. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the Pagosa Springs High School commons, Pagosa Springs High School will hold its annual College Fair.

There will be representatives from 36 colleges, mainly from Colorado.

This is an opportunity to meet the people face to face who can answer all your questions about programs, scholarships, entrance requirements, etc., at their school.

It is a drop-in program: come for the whole time or stop by for 10 minutes.

Also, there will be a book on sale for only $5 at the program: the 2018-2019 Colorado Collegiate Handbook. This useful book has plenty of specific information about every college and university in Colorado and is a worthwhile investment. This meeting is open to any public, private or home-schooled student and their parents.

This year, the college representatives would love for the students to preregister at GoToCollegeFairs.com. After they register (a three-minute process), they can print a bar code. Instead of the student filling out contact postcards, the college representative can simply scan their bar code.
