Sept. 4 will be the first day of school for Archuleta School District (ASD).
Local schools will be holding open houses for students and families in preparation for the upcoming school year.
ASD previously provided The SUN with incorrect information for Pagosa Springs Middle School’s open houses, which was published in the Aug. 9 issue.
The corrected information follows.
The fifth-grade open house will be held on Aug. 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the lower gym.
The open house for grades six through eight will be held on Aug. 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the lower gym.
Pagosa Springs Elementary School open house dates are as follows:
• Kindergarten, Aug. 28, 4 to 5:30 p.m.
• First- through fourth-grade, Aug. 29, 4 to 5:30 p.m.
For new students and freshmen, Pagosa Springs High School’s orientation will be held on Aug. 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
