Special to The SUN

The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will meet on Wednesday, July 12, at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St.

Join us for socializing at 6 p.m., followed by a brief business meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Our speaker for the evening will be Joseph T. Sinclair, of Vallejo, Calif. He is an award-winning amateur photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been taking photos for over 60 years.

He will be speaking on what to buy and how to use it with your phone camera for the best photos possible. The information will apply to all smartphones, so if you have one, and who doesn’t, then the presentation should be rewarding.

Everyone is invited to bring 10-12 pictures on a flash drive, with one or two for critiquing. Longtime photographers and those just starting out are welcome.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact our president, Andy Butler, at (512) 581-1470.
