This year’s county fair is full of new activities and entertainment and the return of some of the old favorites. Cut out the following schedule so you don’t miss any of the fun. See you at the fair.
Every day of fair
9 a.m.-6 p.m. — Kids ride the train free/kid games tent.
9 a.m.-5 p.m. — Vendors/food.
9 a.m.-6 p.m. — Petting farm.
10 a.m.-8 p.m. — Various entertainment and shows.
9 a.m.-9 p.m. — Exhibit Hall and Stith Room are open, and 4-H class entries and displays, unless otherwise noted.
Saturday, July 23
9 a.m. — Exhibit Hall: 4-H dog show.

8 a.m. — Stith Room: Quilt entering/judging.

4 p.m. — Fiber Festival: Closes and all animals and items removed.
4:30 p.m. — Livestock tent: Tear down; all 4-H’ers are required to help.
6 p.m. —Fair closes until next year.
Check the Bill of Fair at the information booth for the latest event additions and updates. There will be various demonstrations each day as well as contests and events that are not listed here.
CPR and first aid certification
CPR and first aid certification classes are now being offered monthly by the CSU Extension office on the second Monday and Wednesday of each month from 6 to 10 p.m. Anyone needing to receive or renew certification can register by calling the Extension office at 264-5931.
We will also schedule classes on additional dates with five or more registrations. Cost for the classes is $80 for combined CPR/first aid and $55 for individual CPR or first aid. The type of first aid information provided will vary by the needs of the audience. Group rates are available. Call the Extension office for information at 264-5931.
