Special to The PREVIEW

The National Panhellenic Conference has 26 sorority groups as member organizations. For 11 years, local affiliated women have been organizing a luncheon to celebrate and share in our collegiate sorority roots.

All affiliated women are invited to attend the 12th annual Panhellenic Luncheon on Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Juan Marketplace at 356 E. Pagosa St., next to Ski and Bow Rack.

The cost of the luncheon is $20 and includes a choice of entrée plus a key lime tart for dessert, iced tea, water, taxes and tips. Entrée choices include a chopped romaine salad or arepas (South American cornmeal tortilla) topped with either carne asada, grilled shrimp, grilled chicken or portabella mushroom. Specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages may be purchased.

A reservation for this luncheon must be made by Aug. 1 by email or phone to Kathy Lansdale at gklansdale@msn.com or (505) 486-5098. Please include your entrée choice, full name, phone, email, sorority and college attended. Attendees will pay at the luncheon.

This special luncheon is greatly enjoyed by all and last year’s event included 31 women.
