Town agrees to pay to train police officer candidate

At the suggestion of Police Chief William Rockensock, the Pagosa Springs Town Council unanimously agreed at its meeting Tuesday, July 5, to pay for training of a police officer candidate in exchange for a commitment to serve as a Pagosa Springs police officer for a minimum of four years.
