Even split by council leads to rehearing of Walmart appeal

The Pagosa Springs Town Council convened a special meeting on May 10 to consider the long-delayed appeal by Walmart of the store’s parking lot lighting violation.

Town Planning Director James Dickhoff’s determination was that the lighting was in violation of the town’s Land Use and Development Code (LUDC).
