If you’ve been in Pagosa for more than a year or two and pay attention to the Archuleta School District (ASD), you most likely know the names of our leaders — Superintendent Linda Reed, high school Principal Sean O’Donnell, middle school Principal Chris Hinger and elementary Principal Justin Cowan. These people provide the leadership and collaboration that are growing our schools into the best in the southwest.

Who is assisting parents and kids alike to help find the lost lunch on the playground, the missing backpack, making a call to home, figuring out the right bus, directing parent volunteers to the right classrooms, registering new students (over 130 of them this year), fielding endless questions about what, where and how?

At Pagosa Springs Elementary School, you will find Jacki Trujillo-Hart, an eight-year veteran at the desk. Trujillo-Hart is a Pagosa native with three sons out of the house and a daughter, Treanna Trujillo, who just started her sophomore year at Pagosa Springs High School.
