Special to The PREVIEW

It has been a busy summer in Pagosa Springs, filled with a plethora of opportunities to enjoy the fine arts. With the fine efforts of Music in the Mountains, Curtains Up Pagosa, the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, Sunday Night Unplugged, along with folk and bluegrass, outdoor concerts and festivals, there has not been a week that has gone by that hasn’t provided us with what Pagosa Springs does best, the arts.

This weekend, Saturday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m., St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, through Vision Quest Entertainment, will offer yet another opportunity to experience fine arts in Pagosa Springs, with three internationally recognized pianists playing compositions that are guaranteed to make you smile.

Artists Lee Bartley, Lisa Downing and Louis Colaiannia, each accomplished composers, pianists and recording artists with CDs that have gained worldwide recognition, will dazzle audiences with their style, technique and beautiful music.

Bartley, a native of Colorado and former resident of Pagosa Springs, worked with a number of well-known local artists such as John Graves, D.C. Duncan and Bob Heminger, and contributed greatly to the efforts of Curtains Up Pagosa and to the advancement of the arts in our community during his time here.
