You can become a certified nursing assistant in as little as seven weeks at Southwest Colorado Community College (SCCC). This is a RN and not BSN, those unsure about which route to take can read up on the difference between rn and bsn nursing categories. It's important to know exactly what one is getting into.

“This is a great opportunity to enter a growing and high-demand work force in just a few weeks,” said Cheri Johnson, RN, instructor at SCCC.

Durango campus classes will be offered Oct. 12 through Nov. 19 from 5 to 8:45 p.m. SCCC has a nurse aide certification exam pass rate consistently above the overall state average.
