On Sunday, Aug. 2, at 10:30 a.m., Claudia Smith will lead an exploration into social activism from a Buddhist perspective as discussed in a sermon written by the Reverend Samuel A. Trumbore, of the Unitarian Universalist Buddhist Sangha in Charlotte County, Va., which teaches us that, by cultivating loving kindness through meditation, right action in the world may ensue and, through the pursuit of right action in the world, true realization of oneness may be found.
