Human Services to provide school supplies for Pagosa students

Archuleta County Department of Human Services (DHS) will provide the students of Archuleta School District with basic school supplies for the upcoming year through Kits for Kidz.

Kits for Kidz began with the goal of providing essential school supplies to underprivileged students. The company creates kits of age-appropriate school supplies for all grade levels. Each kit holds 30 items that include everything from spiral notebooks and scissors for elementary students, to a dictionary and scientific calculator for high school students.

This is the second year school supplies have been provided to students in the district through DHS as an initiative to promote academic success and equal opportunity.
