The Region 9 Economic Development District has been approved to receive $61,000 in planning and technical assistance funds through the Economic Development Administration (EDA).
The funding has been given annually to Region 9, in varying amounts to support economic development planning efforts and partner with community groups, governments and the private sector, to accomplish special projects and provide technical support. This includes assisting local communities in updating community profiles, community development action plans and other needed data compilation.
