Teen finals study sessions, adult spa workshop and CPR class

Teens in the seventh through 12th grades are invited to study for finals at the library on Monday, May 18, and Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 5 p.m. We’ll provide you with a good space to study, plus resources and snacks at your fingertips, as you prepare for your final exams.

Adults are invited to a free Do It Yourself spa workshop tomorrow, Friday, May 15, at 2 p.m. You will learn how to make a fizzy bath, a special hair rinse and a clay mask — and you’ll leave with the makings for your own spa night. No registration is required.

CPR certification for bystanders or health care providers takes place on Monday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. After completion of this class, you will be CPR certified for two years through the American Heart Association. Registration is required and the cost is $50.

Activities calendars

To be sure you don’t miss any of the free activities available to you and your families at your library, we encourage you to pick up a copy of the events calendar each month. There are three versions — kids (includes tweens), teens and adults.
