Special to The SUN

Join us tonight, Thursday, March 19, in the Pagosa Springs Middle School Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (dinner provided) for a discussion focused on adolescents and how they are using technology in their world. What programs do they use? What do those programs do? What are the dangers to be aware of?

Learn how kids navigate their world and social life in a totally different way. Learn what measures you can take to stay informed, have access and even tools to closely monitor their online activity as much or as little as possible.

This evening is sponsored by Pagosa Springs Middle School and will be focused on that age group.

The meeting is open to parents, grandparents, caregivers and community members. Everything will be covered from the basics to more complex things going on in the adolescent’s online life.

Dinner is being provided by the Pagosa Springs Youth Center. This is an “adult only” event; there is no child care and, due to space constrictions, space is limited to the first 50 people.
