Quick announces candidacy for state attorney general

Posted
Don Quick stopped by The SUN Tuesday afternoon during a tour of the southwest region of the state to announce his candidacy for attorney general of Colorado.

Since John Suthers, the state’s current attorney general, has reached the end of his term limit, Quick, a democrat, will be running against Republican Cynthia Coffman and Libertarian David Williams.

“I know the kind of good you can do in the AG’s office,” Quick began, “so my focus in wanting to be Attorney General is protecting Colorado’s people and places. We’re lucky enough to live in the most beautiful place on Earth, and as the attorney general you’re the top cop in the state, so protecting people is one of your primary responsibilities.”
