In her semiannual report to the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners on Aug. 19, Archuleta County Treasurer Betty Diller indicated that the county continues to improve financially, with fund balances increasing.
In fact, the county’s adjusted cash balance is more than $1.8 million more than last year.
“We’re making great strides in raising fund balances,” Diller said.
According to the report, at the end of June 2013, the county’s total cash was $16,500,447.90. This year, that figure is $18,350,713.33.
