The City Market, located on the west side of Pagosa Springs, was evacuated around 4 p.m. Friday following reports that individuals were having trouble breathing. The store reopened at approximately 5:25 p.m.
According to Christina Marquart, deputy director of emergency management for Archuleta County, several individuals reported having troubles breathing, along with sneezing and coughing while in the store. Upon going outside, however, the individuals reported relief of the symptoms.
What caused the reaction has not been confirmed.
