The Archuleta School District Board of Education held a work session Tuesday afternoon to review next year’s budget.
ASD finance director Janell Wood began with a presentation of the preliminary budget, which included a dip into reserves of $1,282,702 over a two-year period. Wood explained this extra spending included expenditures for new technology in each school, work done on the middle school roof and the need to purchase a new school bus.
