The State Historical Fund (SHF) supports community heritage through tangible and highly visible historic preservation projects for direct and demonstrable public benefit. Since its inception, the SHF has awarded 4,064 grants, totaling more than $262 million, to projects in all 64 counties. The next grant round deadline is Oct. 1.

The Town of Pagosa Springs will host a community roundtable on Friday, June 6, from 10 a.m.-noon to outline grant availability and provide guidance with grant writing. This community event will provide an excellent opportunity to interact and prepare for the next grant round. While the SHF outreach team is always available by phone or email, the roundtables offer local community members an opportunity to interact with staff directly, as well as learn from fellow applicants and their projects.

Sharpen your pencils and join us on Friday, June 6, at the Ross Aragon Community Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd. Please RSVP at least 48 hours in advance by contacting Kristi Roberts at (303) 866-3493 or Margaret Gallegos at the town hall, 551 Hot Springs Blvd., 264-4151, ext. 224 or email mgallegos@pagosasprings.co.gov.
