Wolf Creek seeks comments on proposed project

Last summer, Wolf Creek Ski Area removed the old Treasure lift and replaced it with Treasure Stoke, a high-speed, detachable quad that was fully operational for the 2013-2014 ski season. Upon Forest Service approval last fall, Wolf Creek commissioned engineered drawings for the retired Treasure lift to be recycled and reinstalled as the Elma lift. The Elma lift, which is slated for construction this summer, will provide skiers a way to get back to the base area from the bottom of the Alberta lift and eliminate the long lift ride and traverse across the mountain. It will also open up some great beginner/intermediate skiing.
