The U.S. House of Representatives passed Colorado Rep. Scott Tipton’s (R-Cortez) Water Rights Protection Act bill on March 13.
The bill, H.R. 3189, was introduced to the House in September 2013 and spent over five months under consideration by subcommittees on water and power; conservation, energy, and forestry; natural resources and agriculture.
