Pagosa Springs’ town manager David Mitchem presented a request for a cost of living increase to his salary at the Tuesday night town council meeting.
According to Mitchem’s documentation, the town council approved a salary plan in 2013 that included cost of living increases for all of the town’s staff. These raises were based on the 2012 Denver/Boulder Consumer Price Index (CPI), which saw an increase of 1.934 percent that year.
