Photo club to host open house for annual exhibit

The Pagosa Springs Photo Club 10th annual Juried Print Exhibit will begin with an open house, Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5-7 p.m. at the Pagosa Photography Studio and Gallery, 480 San Juan St.

Refreshments will be provided during the exhibit by the club and by Nello’s.

The exhibit will continue through Dec. 24.

The exhibit will feature photographs taken by club members, including Wanda Schierling, Suzi White, John Farley, Jean Moats, Marice Maples, Steve Merchant, Andy Butler, Linda Pampinella, Mary Ann Nelson, Jeff Laydon and T. J. Reynolds.

Photos featured in the exhibit were judged for inclusion by Howard Rachlin, founder of the Durango Photo Club.

During the open house, cash prizes for first, second and third place photos will be awarded, and photos receiving Honorable Mention and Juror’s Selection will also be recognized.
