Durango resident Sheila Kay Fitzhugh passed away at her home on Monday, July 29, 2013, at the age of 66.
She was born on June 12, 1947, in Borger, Texas. Sheila was employed by Burnett Construction, Durango Construction and later Four Corners Materials. Her career in the construction industry lasted more than 30 years.
She is survived by her lifelong partner Diane Dukart of Durango, niece Candy Fitzhugh-Newton of Bayfield, sister-in-law Carolyn Fitzhugh of Pagosa Springs, and a host of friends.
Cremation has taken place; at Sheila’s request no services will be held.
