Special to The PREVIEW

Dance your boots off Aug. 3 with Tim Sullivan and the Narrow Gauge as they perform a special benefit concert for LASSO.

Tim Sullivan and the Narrow Gauge is one of the area’s premiere country and western bands. Tim is quite the performer and entertainer; he has appeared on stage with such well-known artists as Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Glen Campbell and Tammy Wynette. He has also been a guest artist with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra and a featured performer on NBC’s Today Show. Tim has appeared at venues throughout the United States and abroad, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall, Broadway’s Town Hall, Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth and the World Equestrian Center in Sydney, Australia. He won a Songwriter of the Year award for his song “Dance In The Rain,” and is featured on the soundtrack of a motion picture, “Follow Me Outside. “Tim wrote the theme song for the 2003 Boston Red Sox — “Cowboy Up” — and co-wrote and starred in a one-man musical titled “Diary of a Songwriter” that he has performed across the country and off Broadway to rave revues.
