The day after the Car Show at Pagosa, officials at Pine Ridge Extended Care Center called the Chamber of Commerce. They had tried to bring a group of residents to the show, but were unable to get transportation to Lewis Street.
The Chamber of Commerce is asking local owners of custom or vintage cars and trucks to bring their vehicles to Pineridge, on Bastille Drive, on Sunday, June 16, at 10 a.m.
Call or e-mail Stacy Kirby at the Chamber indicating your willingness to participate and she will set up a “mini” show at the Pine Ridge lot.
“The only thing I can bribe you with is my sincere gratitude and probably the best day of your life, knowing how many smiles you will bring to our wonderful seniors,” said Kirby.
