The board of education for Archuleta School District 50-JT has been highlighting talks on school safety and security at their monthly meetings and would like to solicit further community input on some of the options they are considering.

A survey, recently posted for students, staff and parents, is now posted for any community members to answer.

The results of the short survey will help the board members decide their next steps in addressing security in the schools.

To access this six-question survey, visit the district website at  www.mypagosaschools.com and click on the “Community” tab, which will bring you to the survey link.

The survey can be taken once per Internet-capable device.

In addition to responding to the survey, Archuleta School District 50-JT, as always, invites community members to attend regular meetings of the board of education. The times of the meetings are posted on the district website and outside the district office.  Generally, regular BOE meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month in the middle school library, located at 309 Lewis St.
