BoCC to meet, discuss geothermal grant

The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday), with the following agenda. The meeting will be held in the commissioners’ meeting room in the courthouse.

• Liquor Board.

A. Consideration of renewal for a retail liquor store license for Piedra Peak General Store, LLC dba Piedra Peak General Store.

B. Consideration of transfer of a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Chavolos Mexican Restaurant of Pagosa Springs, Inc. dba Chavolos Mexican Restaurant.

C. Consideration of a 90-day temporary permit for a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Chavolos Mexican Restaurant of Pagosa Springs, Inc. dba Chavolos Mexican Restaurant.

• Land Use Regulation Hearing.

A. Consideration of a resolution to consolidate four lots into one in Rio Blanco Subdivision A, owned by Richard Sessions.

B. Consideration of an extension for the Siebel Senior Living Center Conditional Use Permit.

• Consent agenda.

A. Approve the renewal of the elevator maintenance contract with Peak to Peak Elevator.

B. Approval of purchase of services agreement between Archuleta County Department of Human Services and Mark Disbrow in the amount of $7,605 for the Pathways to Fatherhood Nurturing Fatherhood Program.

C. Payroll and payable warrants.

D. Regular meeting minutes of Feb. 19.

• New business.

A. Consideration to approve partnering with the Town of Pagosa Springs in a Geothermal Power Plant Research Grant by appropriating $9,000 from the General Fund as the County’s portion of the match.

B. Consideration to fill seasonal fire crew positions.
