Dance for the Families at the community center

SUN Columnist

Mark your calendars for a spectacular event.

Dance for the Families will be held at the Ross Aragon Community Center March 15, 7-10 p.m.

Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program, Archuleta County Education Center, Pagosa Springs Youth Center, Seeds of Learning, Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center, The Nurturing Center and Pagosa Outreach Connection have all been highlighted as some of the local nonprofits that help families in Archuleta County.

Proceeds from this dance will be split among three of these non-profit organizations.

When each attendee checks in, they will be given a voting slip and will be asked to vote for their favorite nonprofit or nonprofits.

That’s it — no silent auction, no live auction, just a great opportunity to dance the night away with DJ Dusty and help raise money that will stay in our community to help others in need. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available that night.

This is a 21 and older event.

Tickets are on sale now for $18 at the Ross Aragon Community Center and Old Town Market. At the door on the night of the event, tickets will be $25.
