Meeting features information about Pagosa Pathfinders

The Pagosa Pathfinders is a program for youth 8-18 years old.

The program focuses on teaching youth the eight disciplines of the NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge.

The disciplines include: field hunter safety and ethics, shotgun sporting clays, .22 rifle, muzzleloader, orienteering, 3D archery, animal identification and hunter responsibility, and woodsmanship skills.

The group is having an informational meeting for parents of current members and anyone interested in considering becoming a member of Pathfinders. The meeting is on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at the County Extension building.
