Is Pagosa Colorado’s best small ski town?

Best Colorado ski town.

That could be the honor that Elevation Outdoors Magazine bestows on Pagosa Springs, if Pagosa Country receives enough votes.

The Rocky Mountain outdoor lifestyle magazine is holding voting open until tomorrow, Dec. 7, in three categories: Best Small Colorado Ski Town (population less than 2,000), Best Mid-sized Colorado Ski Town (population 2,000-6,000), and Best Large Colorado Ski Town (population 6,000-plus).

Pagosa Springs is up for a shot to win in the Best Small Colorado Ski Town category. Other towns competing for the prize are Copper, Dillon, Granby, Keystone, Minturn, Montezuma, Nederland, Silverton and South Fork.

As of press time, South Fork had received the most votes, with 10,614, followed by Silverton, with 10,077 votes.

Pagosa Springs had received 335 votes, only 1 percent.

Help support your town by voting for Pagosa Springs as the best small ski town in Colorado.
