UU topic: ‘The Art of Spirit’

On Sunday, Dec. 2, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be “The Art of Spirit,” presented by local artists Kathleen Steventon and Andrea Lyle.

Their unique artwork is currently on display for all to enjoy at the UU Fellowship Hall.  (If you are unable to view their artwork at the UU, please call Laurel Epps at 731-111).

They will pay tribute to the Fourth Unitarian Universalist Principle, “A free and responsible search for truth and meaning” in their discussion about the creative expression, spirituality and serendipity involved in creating their art.        Kathleen points out that her paintings focus on the emotional and spiritual connection to the world around her.  Andrea is a self-taught artist and believes that her art work has a spiritual nature that helps her, “Come out and play!”

The children’s service is provided during the main service and centers on the Seven UU Principles.  The main service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall.  The address is Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza.  Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
